2002 

   

   The data collected during this year test beam are transferred
   to permanent storage utilizing the Central Data Recording service.
   In this way we have access to the best and most powerful data 
   storage technology available in the CERN computer centre, 
   hence avoiding an heavy tape recording effort in our labs.
   All data is written to CASTOR, the CERN Advanced STORage Manager.
 
   PLEASE NOTICE that TWO FORMATS and NAMES of files are stored.

   Files are named as :  
         
    -   runxxx.bdt (taken in May/June and July testbeam with BAT-DAQ)
    
    -   daq-1_pixel_000xxxx.run (taken in August Testbeam with DAQ-1)

   Files can be listed using the command:

   nsls /castor/cern.ch/atlas/testbeam/pixel/2002

   and retrieved by:
 
   rfcp /castor/cern.ch/atlas/testbeam/pixel/2002/runxxx.bdt .
   or
   rfcp /castor/cern.ch/atlas/testbeam/pixel/2002/daq-1_pixel_000xxxx.run  .
  

   A copy of the files runxxx.bdt is also accessible using ftp from 
   pcatlpix01, using username and password.
